Getting a message that your code is not valid at PlayStation or Nintendo? You are probably using the wrong number. For these two you only need the PIN, not the card number.
PlayStation Store
In the PlayStation Store, go to redeeming a code.
Enter the PIN from your e-mail in the voucher code field.
You do not need the card number here.
Nintendo eShop
Sign in to your Nintendo account.
Add the PIN from your e-mail as credit.
Again, the card number is not used.
